OUR SERVICES

In-Person and online SUNDAYS AT 8:30a, 10a AND 11:30a

You're probably wondering what it's like at Journey, and that's a fair question. After all, what kind of church meets in a building that looks like a tent? But if you're willing to give us a try, you'll find a place full of everyday people who want to welcome you into our community. Our style is super casual (our only dress code is "please do"), our teaching is relevant to everyday life, and if you're into music, you'll find that this is one of the best live-music venues in West Tennessee. Our services typically last about an hour, and we believe that it'll be an experience that you'll never forget.

CURRENT MESSAGE SERIES

When we talk about faith - the natural, default language centers around one of three things: belief of information, religious expression, or behavior. While all of those are important pieces of our faith story, focusing on them as the centerpiece would be like focusing on behavior as the centerpiece of a parent/child relationship. According to Jesus' own words, the Son of Man came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61; Luke 4:18-21). Another misunderstanding is that "we" don't celebrate a religion, "we" celebrate a relationship. While that IS entirely true, we have a tendency to define what a relationship is by OUR standards and definitions - usually centered around us being "accepted" as we are without expectation of change. Real relationships - the kind that Jesus wants FOR us - are about intimate and consistent connections. Jesus' desire for us is transformation by the RENEWING of our mind in Him (Romans 12:12). During this series we will talk about what a whole-hearted relationship with Jesus looks like in real, everyday life.
